Chiapas Turquesa – Wet Process
This coffee is grown in the same region as our Chiapas Highlands – Certified Organic, but is processed differently after harvest. Instead of drying and fermenting in their cherries, these beans are processed using water to separate the beans from the fruit. Because they spend less time in their cherries, the beans take on less fruity sweetness and their true flavor is allowed to shine. Medium body, with notes of nutty milk chocolate, citrus, and grape.
We start with 10 oz. of unroasted coffee, and then roast it exactly how you want it. Please note that the darker we roast, the less the roasted coffee will weigh. Expect about 8.0-9.5 oz. of roasted coffee.
